By using Gay Australia you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
1. Who can use the site
You must be at least 18 years old. By creating a profile or using the site you confirm that you are 18 or over and that you are allowed to use a dating site where you live. We remove any profile we believe belongs to someone under 18.
2. Your account
Keep your login details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Please use one account per person and give accurate information.
3. Your profile and content
You keep ownership of the text and photos you post. By posting them you give us permission to display them on the site, and to resize or crop them to fit our pages, for as long as your profile is live. You promise that the content is yours to share, that any photo shows you or an adult who has agreed to it being posted, and that it does not break the rules below.
4. Rules
You must not post or send:
- anything that involves, or appears to involve, a person under 18;
- nude or sexually explicit photos or videos in public profiles;
- advertising for paid sexual services, escorts, or anything that offers sex in exchange for payment;
- harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination;
- scams, requests for money, spam or promotional links;
- another person's photos or private information without their consent;
- anything illegal in Australia.
5. Review and removal
Profiles are reviewed before they are published. We may refuse, edit or remove content, and suspend or close accounts, if we believe these terms have been broken, with or without notice. If you see something that breaks the rules, please report it.
6. Meeting people
We do not run background checks and we cannot verify what members say about themselves. Please read our Safety tips before you meet anyone. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for what members do or say, online or in person.
7. Premium and paid features
Some features may be offered as paid Premium options. The price and what is included will be shown before you pay. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Availability
We try to keep the site running smoothly but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change or be removed.
9. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that results from your use of the site or from content posted by other members. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Ending your membership
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your profile through our contact form. We may end your access if you break these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
